A blanket of darkness

Cloak and dagger

Under the blood moon cover of night

 

I smell your fear

Feel the chill of your utter anticipation

I hear the gasp of wind

As it‘s leaving the sails of your fight

 

Catch the bitter taste of your hopeless frustration

And I see your expression

As I’ve already found you

Through a blanket of darkness

Cloak and dagger

Under the blood moon cover of night

 

My motive in question

Though not by your eyes

In the scope of my stare

Spy the knot the noose ties
