There I Am … Am I There

Look in the mirror

What do I see?

A reflection of my light image

Streaming back to me

As I reflect on my reflection

I think of my present

Greeting my past

And my past, light-speed fast

Sends its bookend reply

Before I can even blink an eye

Having stretched the stream

Into a long, thin line

Found it is simply the reflection

Of a me from previous time

I leaned in to take a closer look

And, like reflections, gave as much as I took

For Rook is Hoke and Hoke is Rook

Such as reflected throughout this book
