Here is my everything

All this nothing

But it is everything to me

 

And so I share it all

With the world

And yet for no one to see

 

I’m not alone

I’m not the only one

Sharing their all

I know it’s not only me

 

So here’s my everything

For everyone yet no one

And I’m in good company

 

Everyone’s hoping

Someone will see

The light they shine

Shines as bright as the sun

And from a world of darkness could be

The night’s brightest star

One the whole world could see

 

But fewer are looking

Than looking to shine

Out there hoping

Their star

It shines brighter than mine

 

Here is our everything

All this nothing

And so we share it all

Because fewer are looking

Than looking to shine

Out there hoping their star

Of them all

Will out shine

And I’m hoping that none

Will shine brighter than mine
