Catch my sunset

Off the back of a truck

A semi sunset

If I have any luck

 

Catch a sunset

As it reflects off the back of a truck

 

And in the morning

If I’m playing it wise

I wake up early

Driving west

I just might catch a sunrise

 

Catch a sunrise

Off the back of a truck

A semi sunrise

Driving west

If I have any luck

 

Catch a sunrise

As it reflects off the back of a truck

 

Like seeing you now

It’s all too much to face

So while I build up the courage

I continue my race

To catch the sunrise in the east

To the west I must face

To catch a sunrise off the back of a truck

 

And in the evening

Driving east

And if I have any luck

I’ll catch the sunset in the west

Off the back of a truck

 

And when my race for courage is finally through

I’ll turn around

So I can face the sunset with you

Then turn around again

To face the sunrise with you

I’ll catch my sunrises and sunsets with you
