It lies to me

But shows me all I’ve been missing

Until I face the lies

Do I become wise

Do I finally see the truth

Can’t trust what I see

From the corner of my eye

Can’t believe you are gone

And I can’t see why

Caused by bad decisions

Peripheral visions

Or ulterior missions

Might be due to bad decisions

But I suspect ulterior missions

I claim the fifth

And I give myself permission

To declare war with my peripheral vision
