Spinnerets
Spinnerets
9.28.2021
It’s all angles
And perspectives
Web’s a trap
But it’s also where
A spider calls it home
She calls it home
But then she turns around
And calls me lunch
She’s said she loved me
Now I’m caught in
Her web of lies
Can’t say
I like her perspective
A whole bunch
She said she’d take me
For a spin
But I could not find
The car to get in
Didn’t know the trouble I was in
Then turns as dark
As darkness gets
As I turn to face the spinnerets
Spinnerets
From spinnerets
Cocooned as tight
As webbing gets
Just finished lunch
But I’m up next
It turns as dark
As darkness gets
As I spin from the spinnerets
I should have known
When we first met
She picked me up
I’d won the bet
As I got in
And sat beside her
I saw her car
It was a Spyder
Now it’s as dark
As darkness gets
She spins me
From her spinnerets
