Ron A Swan
Ron Swan is an artist living in Peoria, IL, at least physically, his mind is all over the place.
Ron loves creativity. He peers at life through creative lenses and there is rarely a path he will not follow.
Ron has written two novels. He self-published the first, Through the Kindness of Ravens, and has completed his second novel, The Kite and the Coin Toss. The latter of which, he is searching for an agent to get it traditionally published with hopes to find it available at the local bookstore as well as your nearest Barnes and Noble.
He is preparing his third novel, At the Crossroads of Right and Wrath, and has a list of several others to follow.
Ron has also written three children's stories, the first of which, Birden the Albatross, likens itself to an Aesop's Fable. The other two, Yin's Dark And Scary Story and its sequel, Yang's Not So Dark But Scary Story lean more towards Dr. Seuss. He intends to pursue getting these published as well.
Over the years, he has written over five hundred poems and lyrics, with many posted in the blog, jOURnal. He has published over one hundred of them within his first novel either as preludes to chapters or in the collection at the end of the novel, This Journal Belongs To Jakeb Hoke, representing a journal in the novel. Ron has also published over sixty of them in the form of digital stories in the app, Steller. Click the following link to view them under his Steller profile...
Ron has created art in many mediums from photography to painting to comics, submitted an ad campaign to McDonalds (McGold Rush), and recently submitted shirt designs to 1776 United and two full scale project concepts to Disney, (Pixel Dust and Ghost and Found). He shared the technical aspects behind Pixel Dust with the makers of Xylobands.
He lives in Peoria, IL with his wife, daughter, son and two cats...and yes, the cats rule the domain.
