Keeps tellin’ me it’s time to stand

Both hands

On its face

But it doesn’t have a leg to stand…on

Long on time

Short on ground

But it’s time for it to take a stand

It’s the top of the hour

And it thinks it has the upper-hand

Now face to face

And it’s telling me

It’s time to stand

I turn to face our time

To see my watch is right

To see it’s time to face

What’s poisoning this land
