They say

You can’t have your cake

And eat it too

 

While I do believe

You can’t trample our rights

And tell U.S. freedom’s true

And you can’t keep telling lies

Expecting all to trust in you

 

But as for having your cake

And eating it too

 

Seems like the right thing to say

But your cakes are stolen anyway

You’ll charge to watch you eat them

But for your crimes

You’ll never pay

 

So I guess

You’ve proven them wrong

In your own twisted way

Because you have other’s cakes

Steal and eat them every day

You trample on our rights

And lie how freedom’s true

Though you tell only lies

Fools still believe in you

 

So for you

It’s apropos to say

You can have their cakes

And eat them too

 

My only hope is Karma

Hope she catches up with you

Because Karma is a bitch

And believe me

She’ll know what to do
