Grabbing Karma By The Reins
Part VIII: Within the Scope
All the newspapers printed that day
Read exactly the same way
Except for one
A paper reporting on the same day
Same look and feel
Headlines surreal
This paper lay in the Crow’s Nest
This paper lay on Jesher’s desk
Most importantly, though
This paper lay within the scope
And remained unchanged
As did the poem he wrote
Two of only a handful of things
That knew of what now never occurred
That had changed what now the future brings
Each a rippled reflection of headlines blurred
