I can’t remember
The last time I’d ever had a fall
I believe
I can’t remember
I can’t remember getting up at all
Still on the top of the bottom
Can’t see the ceiling from the floor
Living wall to wall
Can’t find my way to any doorway out

Never got up from before

Satisfied with being down and out
At least I’ll never fall again
She says

If I spend it all

So high this summer
Never recovered from the season, fall
So I’ve spent it all

The only relief about
Still on the top of the bottom
Never got up from before

Satisfied with being down and out

But she is always right
