At the FBI
Though it’s gotten harder
And harder
For me to say why
Got 20 years in
But with what’s goin’ on
Don’t want to stand out
Just want to blend in

I just do what they ask

Things I see from in the hall
Things I hear
As a fly on the wall
Not objective
More obstructive
A biased history
Lacking any integrity
And it’s plain to see
It’s all carried out illegally

It’s not my mob
But I’ve bills to pay
So I need this job

I can’t sleep at night
No excuse
But not strong enough
To do what’s right

The Injustice Department
It’s just not me
I don’t like what I hear
I don’t like what I see
Things I hear
As a fly on the wall
But if I speak out
I risk losing it all
But things are not objective
They’ve gotten more obstructive

And retirement’s on its way
Only a few years to go

Next they’ll be frisking me
Trying to convince myself
To do what’s right
